TAD Telecom, headquartered in Norcross, Georgia, was among 60 suppliers to GTE selected from over a thousand suppliers worldwide for recognition as a "Suppliers of Excellence" during 1997. TAD Telecom received its recognition as part of GTE’s Suppliers of Excellence Recognition ceremonies in April.

"GTE annually conducts a supplier quality program to ensure high performance standards among its suppliers, and recognizes those who succeed in providing us with materials and services of outstanding value," said Larry Henry, Vice President and General Manager – GTE Supply.

Suppliers are evaluated on their ability to deliver on time, provide competitive prices and superior value, offer high quality customer services – even during emergency situations, and provide top quality products and service. Using this criteria, GTE narrowed the field to the 60 companies designated "Suppliers of Excellence."
